Problem:
When closing the periods in Accounts Receivables, the system does not check the adjustments that are pending approval for that particular month. If the adjustments are approved they are not getting posted to the original gl date since that particular AR period is closed. Why does the system allow to close a period while still there are adjustments pending approval?
Fix:
In 11i you are able to close a period with pending adjustments; this is intended functionality. If you try to approve a pending adjustment which has a gl_date in a close period then you will need to update the gl_date to an open period and then run gl transfer. Or you can reject the adjustment.
