How to Enable Auto Approval For Personal Information Changes On SSHR Page Using Oracle Workflow Bulider

Task:
Steps to get auto-approved, when personal information [Emergency contact etc.] is updated/added through self service.

Solution:
  1. Using workflow builder, connect to the database.
      Go to File and open
            Enter the following details
Select ‘Database’ radio button
Enter User: APPS
Password: Enter the apps password
Connect: Enter instance name






2. Download the workflow (Item Type: HR) 

3. Click on HR and then click on Process


4. Search for Personal information and double click on Personal information


You will see 5 sub-process  
  • Process Basic Detials
  • Process Phone Numbers
  • Process Contacts
  • Process Mail Address
  • Process Secondary Address
 Each of this corresponds to different region in the Personal Information page
 Double Click on Process Contacts



Double Click on Review Page




Click on the Node Attributes tab. Select HR_APPROVAL_REQ_FLAG attribute


Change the value from Yes to No. And finally Click on Apply button


5. In the same we should change  HR_APPROVAL_REQ_FLAG under sub menu also


     Search for Process contacts and Double click on Process Contacts


   Double Click on ‘Review Page’




  Click on the Node Attributes tab. Select HR_APPROVAL_REQ_FLAG attribute.
  Change the value from Yes to No. And finally click on Apply button.



 
   Save your work


6. Bounce the Apache
7. Retest your changes.

Now if you change any phone contacts on SSHR Page it should gets auto approve.
